    Hi i tested your template and its fine i guess. After this a tried to uninstall it to use my old template but your installation changed some settings. In the footer there is the “powered by ultimento” hint and i can not see my old logo any more. Can you help me to get this back?

    • noam says:

      Hi Henrik – these are set in your admin panel. Go to System > Configuration > Design > Footer > Copyright under your Store View scope and you can select “use website” and that will revert your old settings. Same for the logo ;) .

  2. Henrik says:

    thank you very much for this quick reply. For the logo it helps but for copyright footer there is still the ultimento link ..

      Flush your Magento cache and clear your browser cache. If you’re still having problems feel free to send us your Magento admin and FTP info in a new ticket via the help desk in your account center and we’ll take a look for you ;) .

    Ive installed the magento theme, and begun to implement in our client store. I’ve read through all your documentation, as is very helpful. However i am getting an error when trying to “connect with facebook”. Ive tripled checked all my app settings on Facebook, and made sure i have no other modules installed that should be messing with it.

    i get the following…

    #0 /our_home_dir/app/code/core/Mage/Eav/Model/Entity/Collection/Abstract.php(1166): Mage::exception(‘Mage_Eav’, ‘Invalid attribu…’)
    #1 /our_home_dir/app/code/core/Mage/Eav/Model/Entity/Collection/Abstract.php(1255): Mage_Eav_Model_Entity_Collection_Abstract->_addAttributeJoin(‘facebook_uid’, ‘inner’)
    #2 /our_home_dir/app/code/core/Mage/Eav/Model/Entity/Collection/Abstract.php(292): Mage_Eav_Model_Entity_Collection_Abstract->_getAttributeConditionSql(‘facebook_uid’, ’100000263756844′, ‘inner’)
    #3 /our_home_dir/app/code/local/Mage/Facebookconnect/controllers/Customer/AccountController.php(29): Mage_Eav_Model_Entity_Collection_Abstract->addAttributeToFilter(‘facebook_uid’, ’100000263756844′)
    #4 /our_home_dir/app/code/core/Mage/Core/Controller/Varien/Action.php(420): Mage_Facebookconnect_Customer_AccountController->connectAction()
    #5 /our_home_dir/app/code/core/Mage/Core/Controller/Varien/Router/Standard.php(253): Mage_Core_Controller_Varien_Action->dispatch(‘connect’)
    #6 /our_home_dir/app/code/core/Mage/Core/Controller/Varien/Front.php(176): Mage_Core_Controller_Varien_Router_Standard->match(Object(Mage_Core_Controller_Request_Http))
    #7 /our_home_dir/app/code/core/Mage/Core/Model/App.php(340): Mage_Core_Controller_Varien_Front->dispatch()
    #8 /our_home_dir/app/Mage.php(627): Mage_Core_Model_App->run(Array)
    #9 /our_home_dir/index.php(80): Mage::run(”, ‘store’)
    #10 {main}

    I have had allot of issues with our server and permissions, is there a permission on some file, or directory that
    that needs to be changed? I’ve googled this error, and havent gotten anywhere either.

    Everything elses seems to work great, in fact i can even “like” pages, so i think its sort of working.

    BTW this is magento 1.5.1

      Hi there – if you follow the instructions for the Facebook Connect extension carefully it will work perfectly well.

      The error you are getting seems to be related to one of the following:

      1. Make sure the Magento compilation was turned off during installation.
      2. Disable all Magento caches during installation.
      3. Flush all Magento caches after the upload of files.
      4. Re-index all data.
      5. Log out of the admin and log back in in a new window after clearing your browser cache and cookies.

      Try starting from scratch and following the instructions carefully, paying close attention to the above ;) .

      Hope this helps!

  4. Ryan says:

    Hi!

    I have just followed the instructions for installing ultimento but im not seeing where I get to the 1 click installer, Ultimento > Installer ?? The layout of the admin page has changed drastically. Help!

    • noam says:

      Hi Ryan – most likely this is a problem with not following the installation instructions carefully. The installation is very simple but you do need to go through the steps. Including clearing your Magento cache and logging out & logging back in the admin for example. Also make sure to upload the files as instructed using an FTP tool so that Ultimento files are merged onto your Magento installation and not replace the folders there.

      If you’re still having problems after following the installation steps carefully feel free to send us your Magento admin and FTP info via the help desk and we’ll take a look at your installation ;) .

  5. Brandon says:

    I tried uninstalling Ultimento from the “Ultimento Installation Management” page and then reinstalling it after running into a couple of issues. Probably shouldn’t have uninstalled it in the first place but now it’s too late for that so…anyways I get the following error when trying to reinstall via the 1 Click.

    “A block identifier with the same properties already exists in the selected store.”

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  6. Ryan says:

    Hi

    I am comparing my install with the demo site and I do not have the tabs appearing on the product view pages, the content is there but no tabs. The demo site shows tabs http://demo.ultimento.com/logitech-dinovo-edge-keyboard but mine are just placed on top of each other http://simplymac.icommerce.se/time-capsule-3tb .

    Do I need to change something?

  7. Simon says:

    Hi, I’m currently in the process of setting up the theme, I do not seem to see the option for the customer to pick the number of stars to assign to the product, am I missing something?

    Regards

    Simon

  8. leeb says:

    I’ve changed the slider from flash to JS but cant see where you adjust the speed?

    Could you let me know please?

    Thanks

    • Support says:

      Hi Lee,

      You can find the slider HTML/CSS in app / design / frontend / default / / template / page / cms / alternative-top.html

      You can edit and adjust the slider there to your liking.

      Regards,
      Support

  9. leeb says:

    Also can I remove the arrows from the slider?

  10. Robert says:

    I am having a slight problem. My edited CMS pages are not showing up. They are located in “app/design/frontend/default/ultimentocustom/template/page/cms. I do have custom selected under Ultimento Config. I have reindexed all, have cleared all cache, I ran the compilation process then disabled again.

    Under Configuration/Ultimento Settings/Current Config Scope, default config Ultimento Color Scheme is set to custom; Current Config Scope, Main Website Ultimento Color Scheme is set to custom (grayed out & not able to change, and Use Default [Store View] is checked; Current Config Scope, Default Store View Ultimento Color Scheme is set to custom (grayed out & not able to change, and Use Default [Store View] is checked.

    Any suggestions?

    • Support says:

      Hey Robert,

      The problem is possibly related to the fact that you have the “use default store” checked under the Main Website scope. Per the installation instructions, you want to make sure you never use the default checks as it causes problems with the installation.

      Try that out and see if it fixes the problem. If not, open up a ticket with your login credentials and we’ll take a look.

      Thanks,
      Support

  11. Douglas says:

    On the product detail page, how can I move the tabs around so that “More Information” is the tab selected by default when the page loads instead of “Product Description”?

    Also, I’d like to change the names of these tabs (for example, “Product Details” instead of “More Information”. How is this done?

    Thanks,
    Doug

    • Support says:

      Hey Douglas,

      All the settings that affect the tabs can be found in app / design / frontend / default / ultimento / template / catalog / product / view.phtml . You’ll see reference to “tabber” which is the code that modifies the name/location of tabs. If you play around with that file (BACKUP FIRST!) you should be able to do what you want.

      Thanks,
      Support

      Ooo perfect!

  12. Wale says:

    How do i remove the zip/postal address from the address form, and how do i make my password stronger?

    • Support says:

      Hey Wale,

      Basic address information in the checkout is controlled in /app/design/frontend/base/default/template/ultcheck/billing.phtml. In that file you should see each distinct element and comment out what you don’t need. Such changes could however cause some problems with your credit card authorization as that information is often times required, so tread lightly.

      Regarding the password, I’m not sure what you mean by making a password stronger. A user can select whatever quality of password they want. There are some programs out there that can require certain minimum complexities of password, but I haven’t worked with any of them directly to be able to comment.

      I hope that helps.

    Plus i think i need ULTIMENTO 24hrs support, i am ready to pay anything just to get the site working before 7th.

    Thanks

    • Support says:

      Hi Wale,

      I believe we can help you out on the first issue, but it requires DB work and some other setup.

      If you’d like to look into custom work please open up a ticket in your admin account and we can get into the details.

      Thanks,
      Support

    Hello, the company I work for purchased a license for ultimento and I just installed it but am getting an error because the license is for our live site, but I’m building it locally. Can we add “ourwebsite.local” to the license?
