Hello Noam,
I just updated ultimento to 1.5.1 and there’s something wrong in General (admin, Configuration, Noam Design, General).
–500 – Internal server error.
There is a problem with the resource you are looking for, and it cannot be displayed.–
Can you tell me how can i fix that?
Thank you.
Hi Hendry – make sure to refresh all Magento cache and re-index all data. Then log out and log back in the admin.
Hi Noam,
After refresh all cache and re-index all data then log out and log back. Still have the same problem in General.
Hi Hendry – please send us your Magento admin and FTP info via the help desk in your account center so that I can add this request to the task queue – it’ll be looked at as soon as possible.
Thanks!
Hello Noam,
Is that possible to set products view as default “view as list” instead of “view as grid”?
Thanks and have a nice weekend.
Hi Hendry – yes that’s very easy! But how does that relate to “how to download the latest Ultimento release”?
Anyway – here’s how to change the list mode on your category pages: login to your Magento admin and navigate to “System > Configuration > Catalog > Frontend”. Under “List Mode” select the option you prefer. For example you can select “List (default) / Grid”.
Do I need to upgrade to the latest version of magnento (1.5) to upgrade to the latest version of Ultimento? Thanks!
Hi Wendy – by default Ultimento’s latest version is always optimized for maximum performance on the latest stable Magento CE release which at this time is Magento 1.5.1. But we also have several variations of Ultimento specially optimized to run on different Magento versions so if you run Ultimento 1.4.x open a ticket via your account’s help desk and we’ll send you the most appropriate variation.
Make sure to include your FTP and Magento admin info on the ticket as well as a link to this comment
.
I’m currently running on 1.4.3, would you recommend me upgrading the magento? Is it a better magento version?
Hi Wendy – there is no Magento 1.4.3 so I’m guessing you mean Magento 1.4.2. In all cases I definitely recommend upgrading your installation to the latest stable version of Magento CE which is 1.5.1 as of today
.
Yes, that’s what i meant, thanks for the advice =)
Can you please tell me how to download version 2? I have a max subscription but clicking the download link in my account only let’s me download version 1.6.
Thanks,
James
Hi James – please open a ticket via the help desk and we’ll send you Ultimento 2.0!
I just upgraded to v2 but under My Downloadable Products only my order from March is available.
Hi James – please open a new ticket via your account center and we’ll make sure you get the latest and greatest version ASAP
.
Hey I submitted the support ticket four hours ago and still haven’t received a response. I would really like to have access to the upgrade that I purchased yesterday. Thanks.
It has been another 3 hours. Not exactly ASAP. I love your software and would really like to have it to upload today. Please.
Hi James – we usually respond to all queries in the help desk within 1 or 2 business days
– feel free to read more about our support. Questions and comments throughout this Wiki are usually simpler and often answered in a matter of minutes (depending on whether or not I’m online).
We get back to everyone as fast as we can – and that’s very fast by all standards!
I understand, but you told me to create the ticket. I ordered and paid for the software yesterday. Your website says immediate download, which isn’t working. Instead of telling me how fast your responses are, just find a way for me to download the software I already paid for. It seems like I’m not the only one that has had this problem. I loved the last version and just want the new version.
James – when you sign up for Ultimento the product is available for immediate download. When you place an upgrade order it takes 24 hours and that’s explicitly and prominently displayed on the upgrade page.
Your ticket was in the queue and as soon as we got to it we responded and sent you the upgrade you purchased.
Let me know if you need anything else
.
Thank you. I never went to that page. I was directed to this page http://ultimento.com/v2#up, from an email that was sent to me, clicked the link to upgrade and paid. Anyway I am now a happy camper. Ultimento is far and away the best template/extensions made for Magento. Thanks again.
FYI I need access given to http://184.168.135.139 as we are not using the URL simplieindie.com for this site yet.
Hi James – no problem! I changed that URL in your license with the IP address. Just let me know when you’re ready to go live and want to update your license again.
Hi there! My admin area still only lets me download 2.0 and i purchased the Max package. Can you send me the latest version? Or better, enable the me to download it in your admin area. thanks!
Hi Noah – I can’t send you the files from here but if you open a ticket in your account center we’ll get back to you as soon as possible!
i tried that, still no response from the ticket. thanks.
Hi Noah – I just checked and we actually did respond. Can you please check your spam folder and make sure to add our emails and domain name to your email’s safe list so that our notifications don’t get filtered as spam?
Let us know if you need anything else!
2.2 is not in my download area of account – or am i just trying to get it too quickly!
Hi Helen – what makes you think it’s not updated? The file-name of the zip file may remain the same but the files inside should be up to date. Just make sure to clear you browser cache before launching the download
